Our goal and mission at the United Presbyterian Church of Jamestown is “to know God and to make God known.”  We strive to accomplish this mission through a variety of way as we reach out to children, youth, college students, and adults.

Middle School Sunday School:

A Sunday School class for Middle School students (6-8 graders) is offered every Sunday morning from 9:00-10:15 AM in the Youth Room.  Bryan and Lori Miller teach this class. 

Sr. High Sunday School:

Senior High Sunday School is held every Sunday morning from 9:00-10:15 AM in the Youth Director's Office (next to the board room).

Youth Group

All Middle School and Senior High Youth are invited to Youth Group every Wednesday evening from September-May at the church. Middle School group meet from 6:15-7:15 pm and High School group from 7:30-9:00 pm. Both groups enjoy gathering for a time to share, explore and develop themselves and relationships.

In addition to weekly gatherings, this group engages in service projects, provides an annual Thanksgiving dinner for the elderly, organizes the annual Youth Sunday, meets for special outings and retreats. Confirmation: 

Confirmation is offered for students in the 8th and 9th grades and above. This class includes learning about the Bible, church history, missions, the Christian and Presbyterian traditions, stewardship, and other issues relating to personal faith development. Confirmation in our church is a one year program that begins on October 1st and is completed in May. Contact the church office for more information.
