Our goal and mission at the United Presbyterian
Church of Jamestown is “to know God and to make God known.” We strive to
accomplish this mission through a variety of way as we reach out to children,
youth, college students, and adults.
Our church has
placed college ministry as a high priority as college years tend to be very
formative when it comes to faith development. We seek to reach out to college
students through the following educational opportunities and fellowship events.
Sunday School:
The
college/career Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM in
the fellowship hall. Pastor Dave is leading a class titled, CSI-
Jerusalem: Unlocking the Mysteries Behind the Parables. This class
will help participants better understand the parables that Jesus taught and
how we can apply these teachings to our lives.
Extra-Activities for College/Career:
The college/career group will gather at
various times throughout the year for extra-curricular activities. These
activities may include picnics, barbecues, special trips, Christmas caroling,
and recreational events at the Jamestown Reservoir.
